The brief
Skateboarding isn’t just a movement; it’s proof that you exist. We push culture beyond the board, redefining skateboarding as an extension of personal identity through art and community.

Objective
gALLery was a concept brand that was built out over the course of a semester. We aimed to peel back the layers of skateboarding. Unfiltered, gritty, raw movement.

The idea
The art of living shows in the scars we carry on skin, boards, and canvases. At gALLery, every product is a form of self-expression, shaped by movement and made to mark time. What we make won’t last forever, but the story will. In a world built on mass production, gALLery stays intentional. We cultivate a sense of belonging through exclusivity. Our roots in skateboarding and art keep us grounded in a culture that’s lived, not packaged. gALLery isn’t for everyone. It’s for those who seek what’s beneath the surface.

“Scars are Signatures” is gALLery’s launch campaign. A raw, cryptic narrative exploring the marks we collect. Blending real-world action with emotional depth, the campaign invites our audience to discover the brand, not just consume it. It responds to a world overwhelmed by curated perfection. It speaks to those navigating uncertainty – about love, identity, or simply where they belong. We reflect a shared pressure to always appear certain, composed, and in control. But perfection isn’t what makes us human. Scars do. They tell our stories. They make us real. You don’t need to be flawless to belong, because…
…your scars are your signature.
Execution
A screenplay and briefing were written for the talent, and the campaign was shot over a series of days. The website was a natural fit alongside the brand.
Outcome
We coordinated an entire cast of 6 talents and shot both video and photos in their natural habitat. A great project with some great people. I received a grade of 8.5, putting me in the top 5% of grades; equivalent to a 4.0 GPA.
